Paper Clothes: What Are We Waiting For?
Every time I see Jessica do the laundry and then fold it (sometimes I'm helping with the folding!!!) it breaks my heart. So much work, over and over, always the same, for the rest of our lives.
Many times I thought: why don't we make clothes on paper and, after having worn them, just recycle them with the other paper so they can make new clothes!!!!
The Environmental Impact
This way, apart from not wasting anymore time on laundry, just imagine how many million gallons of water we'll save and no more polluting soaps that go in the oceans or deep in the soil!!!
Soccer: The Perfect Example
Just to make an example, many millions of kids and adults play soccer. Let's produce soccer uniforms on paper that can be thrown away (and recycled) after the games, instead of bringing them home to be washed for the next game!!!
Each season all the players can buy a block of 30 or more jerseys with the color of the team and with their names and numbers already printed on them!!! Even the shorts and probably the socks can be made in paper.
Fashion Forward
Very cool clothes can also be made, even by important brands with famous designers and stylish creators, inventing a new collection season after season, making billions and never again making us keep old clothes that went out of style!!!
No more drawers or closets full of things that we're tired to wear so we keep buying new things!!!!
It Already Exists!
Paper is the simplest solution and, if I was much younger, I would start a company that will make me a BILLIONAIRE!!!!
Maybe you noticed that there are already companies that make clothes for professionals that paint or do work in which you get dirty. So, just enlarge the offer and begin to produce clothes to wear in the same way.
The Future of Fashion
There will be fashion shows in which top models or teenagers will wear and show the new collections for free time, parties or sports. Nike, Adidas and so on should arrive at this elementary solution!!!!
Will they? Maybe...
