Remembering Michael Jackson... PROPERLY!!!
In general, supposing that we have the right to judge other people (and I don't think so!!!!) the correct thing to do, is to ponder the good and the bad and then draw a conclusion.
So, of course, everyone remembers the fact that he did whatever he could to change the color of his skin and his aspect, as if this fact is something that should regard us in some way!!!
Also, the supposed child abuse that created a great scandal, even if it wasn't clearly proven, for sure was not a good thing.
The Michael I Remember
But the Michael that I would like to remember is the one that did something marvelous for all of us... human kind!!!
These footages, that he and his staff created, and put on the Internet in a very hard moment for all of us, were... priceless to give to us a few moments of hope and relief.
The Most Unforgettable Song... EVER!!!
And then, the most unforgettable song... EVER!!!
The collaboration between Michael and Lionel Richie was... magical!!!!
Here is how it started taking shape:
And here is the official video...
A Question of Impact
I often like to ask people: "Would the World, without you, be a worse or a better place???"
I had many different answers but, in general, people answer... "a worse place"!!! So, the majority of us, think that they did something very good for the world!!!
I deeply... disagree!!! And, about myself, thinking back to the things I did, I'm really not so sure.
Looking Back
I remember that in interviews, when people are asked: "If you could go back in life, would you do the same things that you did?" Invariably, all of them answer... ABSOLUTELY YES, because, by doing something different, I would not be here!!!
For me, I did many things that, if I could go back, I will not do so, even if probably I would not be here, that would be the price to pay to fix the mistakes I did.
Thank You, Michael
Anyway, thanks very much Michael, for the incredible impact you had on the lives of BILLIONS of us!!!!
